Rather than adapting an existing 007 film, IO Interactive wrote a brand-new narrative. We meet Bond before the icon — a young agent with everything to prove and a tendency to act first and think later. The story charts how that recruit becomes the agent MI6 trusts with a licence to kill.

The setup
After a daring rescue as a young Naval airman, Bond is recruited into MI6's Double-0 program. He's talented but impulsive, and he's paired with a reluctant mentor, Greenway, to investigate a deadly conspiracy aimed at the British government.
